In December I had the privilege of shooting video and photos during a Bob & Sheri Broadcast at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. The USO was hosting thousands of American servicemen and women as they headed home for the holidays. A co-worker showed me a photo she tried to capture with her iPhone (the flag with light streaming through with a silhouette of a soldier). We waited for the perfect moment, then got this!

Anyone in the mood for #CandyCorn? (at 107.9 The LINK Radio Station)

This was a great place to grow up and it’s full of a million memories. Sad this is the last time I’ll ever be here, but looking forward to many visits and more memories at the NC Coast! (at 2439 Tanglewood Lane)

I have to say… It’s a little surreal seeing this in front of the home I grew up in… (at Charlotte)

We started jokingly calling this photo “The Gobi Desert”. I actually took it at Jockey’s Ridge State Park in Nags Head, NC and is quickly becoming one of my favorite photos… it makes me laugh every time I see it! The girl in the photo is the daughter of a friend and the expression on her face is priceless.
